Meet the Team!
Meet Our President and Membership Vice President!
President Ameila Stamm

Hi!
My name is Amelia Stamm, and I am the Chapter President of Alpha Xi Delta, Rho Chapter. I am a senior here at UNL studying Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Education. I will be finishing up my time here at UNL this year, and I could not be more grateful for the people and memories college has given me.
After college, I will be attending a graduate program to pursue a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology. I am excited to start looking at different programs and to see where this next chapter of my life takes me.
I was born and raised in Oklahoma, but I knew I wanted to go somewhere out of state for college. I was nervous to move far from home and to go to a school where I knew no one, so my mom encouraged me to look into Greek life. No one in my family was a member of Greek life, and I truly knew nothing about it, so I did not know what to expect when registering for recruitment. Deciding to go through recruitment might have been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Every day when I entered Alpha Xi Delta, I truly felt at home. It felt like a space where I could just be myself. I hope that through recruitment, every person who steps through the castle’s door will feel that same way I did when I walked into Alpha Xi.
Alpha Xi Delta has provided me with countless leadership opportunities, all leading to where I am today as chapter president. This chapter has given me the skills, courage, and support to pursue my goals and aspirations. The women of this chapter are the most kind, compassionate, and loving individuals. I could not be more thankful to call this beautiful place home, and for all of the memories and friends it has given me. I truly could not imagine my time at UNL without Alpha Xi Delta.
While recruitment can be stressful at times, it truly ends up being one of the most rewarding processes. I plan to do all that I can to make Alpha Xi Delta feel like a breath of fresh air and a place where everyone feels like they can truly be themselves. The best piece of advice I can give to women going through recruitment is to stay true to who you are and focus on your unique journey. I cannot wait to meet all of our potential new members this fall and see them realize their potential in Alpha Xi Delta!
Membership Vice President Gianna Bianchette

Hello!
My name is Gianna, and I’m a junior majoring in Elementary Education. I’m originally from Omaha, NE, and I dream of moving back to teach 4th or 5th grade at the elementary school I once attended. It would be a full-circle moment to give back to the community that shaped me and support the next generation of students.
When I applied to college, I wasn’t sure whether recruitment was the right path for me. I decided to sign up for the experience, hoping it would be a chance to meet new people and step outside my comfort zone. What I didn’t expect was to find a group of women who truly made me feel like I belonged.
When I walked through the doors of Alpha Xi Delta, I knew I was home. I had never felt more accepted and at ease than I did walking into the castle. There was no pressure to be anyone but myself. I realized recruitment wasn’t about fitting into a mold or living up to a stereotype; it was about finding a sisterhood that values authenticity, connection, and support.
As Membership Vice President, I work closely with our chapter and recruitment team to create a welcoming and meaningful experience for potential new members. My goal is to help others see the genuine, fun, and deeply caring women who make up Alpha Xi Delta, and to guide each potential new member toward the place where they can truly be themselves.
My biggest advice to anyone considering recruitment is to stay true to who you are and trust the process. It’s not about fitting in, it’s about finding where you feel most at home. You’ll meet amazing women and create lasting memories along the way. There’s a special place for everyone here, and you will land exactly where you belong.
